• Description: free tool for organizing and administering multiple remote connections to servers.  Able to maintain multiple simultaneous remote sessions concurrently. Easy to configure and use.  Essential SharePoint admin tool.  Part of admin toolkit.

• SharePoint 2013 Designer
• Description: since Microsoft unfortunately removed the page Design View in this version, this tool is much less useful.  However, I still need it when developing workflows and when performing spot editing of page .NET markup.  And I find it useful for those infrequent folder-path drilldowns, when needing to troubleshoot permissions issues among web server folders.  Useful SharePoint admin tool.

• Install Notes: you can install this on the farm's OWA server, but you must do it in this order: 1) OWA and 2) SharePoint 2013 Designer.  Additionally, you'll need to uninstall it every time you upgrade OWA as OWA will not upgrade with Designer installed on the same machine.
